Rasa Malaysian Cafe is a long-running Malaysian restaurant at 29 Waverley Road, Malvern East, run by hosts Eddie, Swee, Murni and JJ. The menu is built around Penang and Nyonya hawker cooking — char koay teow, several laksas including Penang assam, hokkien and KL fried noodles, nasi goreng, nasi lemak and roti — alongside Nyonya curries, sambal seafood and vegetable dishes. It is fully licensed and BYO for wine, and trades Tuesday to Saturday.
