Eggette

Eggette is a Hong Kong egg waffle (gai daan jai) shop on the ground floor of the Citymark/Marigold building at 683-689 George Street, Haymarket, opened by the Dai family behind The Peak Hong Kong Cafe. The counter makes egg waffles to order in original, matcha, choc chip, red bean, peanut butter, Ovaltine, Horlicks, Milo, cheese and ice cream versions, plus a Hong Kong waffle with peanut butter, sugar and condensed milk. Drinks are cha chaan teng staples carried over from The Peak, including Hong Kong milk tea, Hong Kong coffee and yuenyeung.
