Ria Ayam Penyet is an Indonesian street-food restaurant on Exhibition Street in the Melbourne CBD, part of a chain founded in Indonesia by Ibu Ruth in 1998 that now has outlets across Australia and South-East Asia. The kitchen is built around penyet — meat marinated, fried and smashed, served with tofu, tempeh, crumbs and sambal — alongside ayam geprek, Indonesian soups, nasi goreng and Padang-style rice platters.
