The Malaya

The Malaya is a Malaysian restaurant in Grosvenor Place on George Street in the Sydney CBD, and its menu states that its laksa and curries still follow spice blends it dates to 1963. The a la carte menu runs from Nonya prawn salad, otak otak, satay and roti jala through laksa, Hainan chicken, char kway teow and nasi goreng to a dedicated curry section including kapitan, kari ayam and coconut beef rendang. The venue is licensed and offers BYO on Mondays and Saturday lunch.
