Hinoya Curry

Hinoya Curry is a Tokyo Japanese-curry chain and Kanda Curry Grand Prix winner whose first Australian store opened at 344 Little Bourke Street in Melbourne's CBD on 10 October 2026, brought to Australia by the Hakata Gensuke group. Its curry base is flown in from Japan and finished daily in Melbourne as either a beef or a vegetable roux, served over rice with toppings such as the signature pork katsu, chicken nanban with house tartare sauce and a jumbo prawn cutlet. A pork, chicken or egg katsu sando with curry dipping sauce runs during a 2.30pm-5pm tea-time menu, and the venue is walk-in and dine-in only.
