Rice Workshop Chinatown

Rice Workshop is a Japanese rice bar in Chinatown built around build-your-own rice, udon and curry bowls, with rice portions dispensed from an imported Japanese rice vending machine. The menu is split into rice bowls, udon noodle bowls (with a choice of signature broth, veggie tonkotsu or Japanese curry base), curry bowls, gyoza, and a premium grilled bowl range that includes a hand-crumbed, made-to-order nama panko katsu don line. It is part of a small Melbourne chain with further stores in Chadstone, Fountain Gate, Northland, Highpoint, South Wharf DFO and the University of Melbourne.
