Taste Hunan

Taste Hunan (湘遇湖南菜) is a Hunan restaurant on Little Lonsdale Street in the Melbourne CBD, the city branch of a group that also trades in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. The menu is organised into Hunan appetisers, cold dishes, chef-recommended plates and dry-pot dishes, with chopped-chilli steamed fish, Changsha stinky tofu and xiao chao rou among the signatures. Several dishes use cured and smoked pork and bamboo in the Hunan farmhouse style.
