Zhang Liang Malatang Melbourne CBD

Zhang Liang Malatang is the Melbourne CBD store of a malatang chain that began in Harbin in 2008 and is run in Australia by Masterchef Group. Diners pick their own ingredients from more than 100 options — meats, vegetables, tofu and noodles — and choose a soup base, which the kitchen then cooks to order. The store on Elizabeth Street trades until 2am daily; there is a second Victorian store in Box Hill. Prices are not published on the company's website.
